Behind the restaurant is our courtyard garden and beyond that our greenhouse, kitchen garden, chickens and private area. The courtyard is open year round, and when the sun is shining, we have Sunday barbecues. Like the restaurant, the garden is very natural with lots of stonework, wooden and marble furniture and a 20ft church pew in the shade with masses of tumbling plants, the perfect place to enjoy a pre dinner drink or coffee, or to dine outside.

Behind the scenes, the kitchen garden is a tiny but very productive area. We grow much of our salad and herbs, small amounts of soft fruit, lemon grass, Thai basil, hot chillies and produce you can't buy like elephant garlic & white alpine straw berries. The chickens lay a daily supply of organic eggs kindly collected by our daughter Millie.
