Our ethos is to support and work with local suppliers who grow, rear and harvest the ingredients we use in our kitchen.

This means that we visit our vegetable growers at the end of each season to discuss next years crops, and have daily updates on what's at its best, what's coming up and what's new. We are very lucky to have some of the most experienced and dedicated organic growers from whom we get courgette flowers, golden beetroot, peppers, soft fruit, pink fir apple potatoes, leafy rainbow chard and multi coloured tomatoes.

The venison is obtained locally and our butcher raises his own cows and has only local sheep and pigs.

The lobster fisherman calls us on his mobile while pulling in his pots to see how many crabs & lobster we need and the fish all comes from day boats out of Brixham or Beesands.

All our cheeses come from Ticklemore Cheese Shop in Totnes and most of them are produced in the South Devon area.

We offer a wide selection of excellent wines, from all over the world, for under £15, as well as more premium priced wines & champagne.
